Slimline Re-Purposed Oak Whisky Cask BallPoint Pen with Stylus

Here at the Green Greyhound, we love it when waste products get up-cycled and re-purposed into other useful items.  

 

The Green Greyhound is based in a town that forms part of the Speyside Whisky Trail.  It felt fitting to stock products that re-purposes waste products from a major local and Scottish industry.  

 

This beautifully handcrafted slimline ballpoint pen and stylus is produced from re-purposed oak staves that once formed part of a barrel used in Scottish Whisky production.  It comes with a Copper finish which is a nod to its heritage. 

 

It comes with a medium ballpoint and black ink which can be replaced with any cross-style refill ink that is available in most High Street stationers.  

 

The pen has a twist-action to use.  

 

There is a stylus on the end so that it can also be used with a tablet, phone or touch screen laptop etc. 

 

Many plastic pens cannot be recycled so this pen not only re-purposes a waste product, it also prevents needless plastic waste from ending up in landfill. 

 

Pen comes supplied in a black recycled cardboard gift box.  The gift box can either be put to landfill or repurposed to store the pen or other items such as jewellery.
